July was definitely filled with happiness and joy. My family and I moved out on our own and it was my birthday. My husband spoiled me with gifts and love which dented our pockets a bit but it was well worth it.

What we did with our money this month was pay for our first months rent, purchase only the necessary items and focused on next month’s bills. I wanted to work on buying furniture for our new place. Its taking a lot longer than what most people would expect because I want every piece I buy from now on to last me a lifetime if possible. The pieces might cost a little bit more but it makes it a goal for me to reach that I can live without every decoration piece or furniture. It also allows me to save that money if I really don’t need that certain piece by the time I save enough money to save it. One unexpected bill that we didn’t plan on was my daughter’s before school to-do list. She had to get a dental check up and necessary health shots.

Other than that I believe we did good for all the fun filled things we did for July. I hope that your July was just as fun. See you in my August updates.
